We are looking for full or part-time reliable and competent Restaurant Servers and Server's Assistants to take and deliver orders and assists servers. This position will be part-time days for Cafe 6855 as a server and part-time nights at Vernon's Speakeasy as a server's assistant and/or a food runner. We would love to hire someone who can fill both roles but we will also be interested in hiring part-time for either of these positions. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SUNDAY MORNING/AFTERNOON. Bartending experience a plus.
You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.
Cafe 6855 server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders accurately, serving food and beverages and using our POS system to close out orders. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude.
Server's Assistant responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing tables for fine dining service, serving water and bread to tables, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Food Runner responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace, preparing food trays to be carried to tables, carrying trays of food to the table, ensuring the guests receive their food accurately, working in conjunction with the servers and food expeditor to deliver accurate items.
These positions provide great experience in both casual and fine dining and great training to become a fine dining server at Vernon's Speakeasy. We prefer to promote from within.

Responsibilities
